Our product: A B2B e-commerce SaaS platform that supports loyalty programs’ rewards management functions and is integrated using our modern REST APIs with rewards suppliers and other loyalty program platforms. RewardOps’ offering is disrupting a large global market, providing a more capable product with much more flexibility and major reduction in cost for our enterprise level clients.
Role Description:
We are looking for a designated individual (CPA CGA/CPA CA) to perform financial accounting duties. This position requires the performance of all day-to-day financial functions as well as maintaining/overseeing the general ledger, preparing monthly reporting packages for management, organizing year-end working papers and other tasks commensurate with a controller role. A high level of knowledge in QuickBooks and Excel are required. Accounting and tax experience in technology and related investments would be a definite asset.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Daily bookkeeping including paying bills, making and recording deposits and reconciling all bank accounts.
- Preparing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable lists as needed.
- Preparing and processing payroll as needed.
- Preparing all government related compliance reports including HST
- Preparing monthly and annual cash flow and income projections.
- Prepare required documentation for all CRA related audits.
- Liaise as required with the Executive Team in the normal course of the daily activity of the Company.
- Interface with outside accounting firm to complete annual year end files
- Perform variance analysis on costs and revenues
- Perform bank account and other general ledger account reconciliations
- Responsibility for accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Maintain up-to-date, complete and systematic filing system to support book-keeping and financial records
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- 5 years+ accounting experience
- Excellent knowledge of financial software
- Self-motivated individual who wants to continually improve and become more efficient

- Strong communication and organizational skills and ability to work well with others
- Proven ability to thrive in fast paced environment with strong attention to detail
